Welcome to the Ghost Talk Blog Hop! A few of my favorite SLP Bloggers and I got together to give you a bag full of treats this Halloween!
Historically, Halloween is not my favorite holiday. I always had fun dressing up and trick-or-treating. I also loved going over to my grandma’s for chili to warm up after we were done trick-or-treating. Even with all the fun, I still hate all things scary (and I always have)! In 5th grade I watched the Sixth Sense I slept with my door open and the light on for months! However, I LOVE talking about Halloween during speech sessions since there is SO much to talk about and the kids are so engaged!
Also, this Halloween is extra special for me because we just found out our own little pumpkin is PINK! Baby Girl is expected February of 2017. I am over-the-moon excited and we can NOT wait to meet her!
Karen, from The Pedi Speechie, wrote an adorable story about Gabe the Ghost! Erin, from The Speech Attic, Sparklle SLP, Natalie from Speech Wonderland, Desiree from SLP Talk with Desiree, Elizabeth from The Speech Owl, and I all came up with companion activities for the story! Companion activities target: sequencing, articulation, positional concepts, grammar, describing, comparing/contrasting, and social skills!
Grab my FREEBIE here, then head on over to visit SLP Talk with Desiree to see what she cooked up for you!
